The Republican Party has to go

Most of them now stand for fascism. If they ever again come to full power, our constitution, our country, our freedoms, and our way of life will be gone.

If you don't "get it" by now, I don't know if you ever will. Either way, the clock is running out and the next election is coming at us like a tsunami. And it's very possible that our democracy will be washed out to sea.

The Republican Party must be beaten at the polls. It must be made into a pariah in our society. It must be shunned by all human beings with a sense of decency. And those tremendously wealthy people who finance it, spread its propaganda, and are the real owners of the Republican Party, must be exposed for who and what they are. And they should be held accountable for the countless crimes they have committed in their attempt to seize absolute power over us all.

I sincerely hope that most reading this post understand the deadly threat that is trying to control all the levers of power.

And there's nothing else I can say to add to the sense of urgency that we should all be feeling.

2. I attended a Zoom meeting of my local Dems last night

I am SUPER MOTIVATED to help in any and every way I can!

I was so deflated after '16 I did only the minimum in the next cycle - signs and donations. And of course voting.

I am psyched because my energy is authentic and coming from inside me, organically. I think I can communicate this when I phone bank and doorbell! I hope my enthusisam can get a few people to vote who might not, otherwise!

3. Good for your and everything you're doing

Republicans have seized our country's flag and claimed it belongs to them. They shout at us that they are the "Real Patriots." And they "prove" their sadness over mass murders by mindlessly sending their "thoughts and prayers" into the lens of any nearby television camera.

They are not like us. In fact, they are our Domestic Enemies. Their goal is to destroy democracy and freedom. When they say they want to "own the libs, " believe them. Because they mean it. Literally.

Want to be "owned" by them? Want to be "ruled?" Want to live in a world of racism, ignorance, hatred and vengeance. Then vote for them, or don't vote at all. Want to stop them? Get up, get out, and vote for each and every Democrat on your ballot. This isn't a political announcement. It's a matter of living in a free country.

6. UNLESS the Liz Cheneys and Lincoln Groups can retake the party.

All the support of racism has to go.

All the support of domestic terrorism has to go.

All the bullshit about gun rights being more important than American's right to life has to go.

It's the radical reich wing of the party that has destroyed it.

I don't agree with their basic tenants, but I see that where it's not bent toward a racist, fascist regime, they have a right to their own ideas.

7. Today, the "radical reich wing" owns the Republican Party

There are those like Liz Cheney, (and a few others), who are sane human beings. I'll never agree with her political philosophy, but I can respect her integrity and courage, while I disagree with her world view.

She, and those who agree with her, will never succeed in "taking back" the lunatic asylum that the Republican Party has become. Like the Lincoln Project, she and others must leave the dead corpse of what was once one of two of America's major political parties.

And, yes. Republicans have become a domestic terrorist organization. Hopefully, we will be able to vote out their political power before it gets uglier than it is right now.
