8. I'd bet on that, too.

I recently walked into my dentist's office and was shocked to see Fox "News" on the TV in the waiting room. I was surprised since I learned after 9/11 that my dentist is "one of us." Her assistant rushed in and explained that a previous patient, an older woman, had requested it. But in the few minutes I saw, that's what they were covering - Hillary's emails! How much more is there to say after all these years???

9. I bought two of those universal remote control thingies.

Well, they don't really do anything but turn any television off and on. I got one for my daughter and one for myself, just in case we ran into a situation like the one you described. Works like a charm. You have to be discreet while using it or people will catch on to who's the culprit, but we've both used them before and they always work. They turn the TV back on Fox, I turn it off again.

It's fun, and you can get Trumpheads very irritated. That's the most fun of all.

How have you been, Rhiannon? Getting close to the invasion of the summer people in your neck of the woods, isn't it? Good luck with that. Just remember to go to your happy place when they piss you off. Be a Zen DUer.

10. Well, the assistant had the remote control, the Fox-watching patient had to specifically ask

But I have been in public places where Fox "News" was on the TV and I've changed it, only wish I knew how to permanently block it - it's been responsible for the dumbing down of this country to a frightening degree!

I also got to be friendly with the woman I usually deal with in the service department at my auto dealership. I had changed the TV in the waiting room to MSNBC and when she came in to speak to me, Mike Pence was on and without missing a beat she said "I hate him!" Now she always wants to talk politics when I go in.

And yes, the tourists have arrived. I had to drive through Lake George on Monday (Memorial Day) and I dreaded it, but traffic was actually much worse yesterday, I almost got run over (in my car!) twice! I really don't get it, the lake is beautiful (I lived at the north end of the lake as a little kid), but Lake George Village is packed with crowds and how many tee shirts and how much pizza do they need???

5. It will be a tell. How can they cover when it is their core audience on trial?

The audience mind think that they've spent 30 years cultivating. Remember, it's not news, it's entertainment. Presentation of the information, not with standing.
