Roe v Wade and the lack of Republican resolve to stand up for the lives of our school children could balance out any advantage Republicans may have on inflation and the price of gas?

already passed laws to outlaw abortion. In a midterm...we need to keep it local.

90% of this inflation is due to Stim passed before Biden took office, the war, the covid economy. Plus Biden hasn't been in office long enough to catch all the blame. Inflation takes years to develop. Carter caught blame for it, but would have won if there were no hostages and he'd dodged the final debate.

What is the best way for the Democrats to counter it?

Are there issues Democrats can use against Republicans to balance it out?

Can the public be educated to understand that the President really has no control over the price of gas?

Somebody had better think of something soon, because it is probably going to get much worse as long as the war in Ukraine is going on.
