French Open

18 year old American Coco Gauff has made it to the finals.
No doubt world #1 Iga Swiatek is the favorite, but did you know that Coco has not lost a set on her way to the final. Go Coco!

Oh and Happy 36th birthday Rafa - hope your present is a place in Sunday’s final.

Given that they never finished two sets- hate injuries like that but I love me some Rafa.
The good guy won.

Zverev just destroyed his ankle - this could be career ending- screamed in pain.
This is over.

I love to see it.

Ms. Coco has been working hard to get ready, and it shows.

I am no fan of Zverev, but that was a horrific injury - watch the replay. Did you watch him screaming in pain.

I broke my shoulder so badly it had to be bolted and wired together, 19 bolts. Bone grafts. My knee was shattered when I was 16; I was actually scheduled to play in the semis of a tennis tournament the next day. Kept asking would I be able to play.

I didn't cry like a little baby when either happened or even after the surgeries when it REALLY hurt. I've broken my ankle too, and the pain doesn't compare to a shoulder or a knee.

The guy has been accused of domestic violence, attacks umpires, and is generally a jerk.

My opinion, of course. You're welcome to feel sorry for the poor wee fella.

Rafa is a true giant of the the sport. Always good sportsmanship, always a gentleman, never a bad word to say about anyone.
