In the upcoming Primaries (June and August), if you request an Absentee Ballot, you CANNOT then come in to the polls on Election Day or during early voting. You MUST vote the Absentee Ballot.

No lines, just a little ride..easy peasy...

(42,282 posts)Vote the absentee ballot and return it by mail or to the main Board of Elections office. Otherwise, if you show up in person, it will be a provisional ballot you fill out and it will only count after it is determined you did NOT send in the absentee ballot.

(102,291 posts)The obvious remedy is to go to the polls on election day and vote on the provisional ballot. Is he saying they can't even do THAT? I find that hard to believe.

(102,291 posts)ballot WAS NOT CAST--i.e., NOT that it was not delivered to the voter. The latter is NOT the standard. Is this precinct judge saying otherwise?
