The years of extreme Republican propaganda, corruption, is catching up to them.

I have always said extremism is not sustainable in the long term. It seems like everything is now coming to a head. The hearings, the investigations, abortion issue, gun issue.

The Republicans have become so extreme they can't vote for things that are good, right. That can't win elections without cheating. They will be attacked by their own voters if they do right. Who will replace them with someone more extreme and drag the party further to the extreme right. It's turned into a vicious cycle they cannot control. Soon , we will most likely see Republicans turn on each other. That's when you know you are getting near the end, when the extremists start destroying each other.

We are witnessing an historic event that is not going to end well. The destruction of a major political party. They will either change or fade off into history.

Then maybe those in the Republican Party could take it back from the Reich Wing.

I don't think the Reich will stop until they have destroyed Democracy entirely.

cause their touchstone is the evil liberal boogyman.

It is what brought the together and it be what they blame all the pain and suffering they inflict on themselves and others.

Favored to take both chambers of Congress in Nov

Control the supreme court

They have full control of 23 state governments, compared to our 14.

They are not on the ropes and they are not going away or collapsing.

Wake up and smell the depth of shit we are in. Sorry to be blunt.

for their crimes. If not, they'll steal elections from now and and it will be too late.

But if higher ups involved in the attempted coup, and those plotting to turn over the next set of elections do time, get disbarred, lose elections, and finally go the way of Joseph McCarthy, yes they will self-destruct.

After all, in the words of Deep Throat, these guys aren't very smart.

Stalin and Hitler did themselves in in WWII with their egos and grossly misreading events. Because despots don't understand the will and passion of heros who act out of love (like Zelensky). Tyrants in the end over-reach.

Problem is, in this case, there isn't a superpower to save us if we go authoritarian.
