people commit domestic violence, predominantly males...it's kinda like guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people

Abusers always blame something or someone. But it is them. Not their excuses.

There is a correlation between substance use and domestic violence, typically be alcohol and other substances disrupt the inhibitory process in decision making.

If you are prone to anger and sober, you have a greater chance of engaging in another strategy to avoid violence. If you are intoxicated, you are less likely to make the prosocial decision.

Beer however, does not CAUSE domestic violence.
