Third Space Brewing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is preparing a 60-barrel run of "One in Four IPA" to bring awareness to the problem of domestic violence. They're giving the proceeds of this project to Milwaukee's Sojourner Truth House.

Uhh...doesn't beer CAUSE domestic violence? The optics here aren't all that great.

There is a correlation between substance use and domestic violence, typically be alcohol and other substances disrupt the inhibitory process in decision making.

If you are prone to anger and sober, you have a greater chance of engaging in another strategy to avoid violence. If you are intoxicated, you are less likely to make the prosocial decision.

Beer however, does not CAUSE domestic violence.
