Do you really expect people seeing gas over $5 per gallon, rent increases, and high grocery bills to say "Well, people in Spain have it worse" ?

Just as James Carville is often quoted "It's the economy, stupid"

People are going to give the current politicians praise when there are good things and blame them for the bad things. Comes with the territory and voters in other countries are liable to do the same. That's just how it is.

We all know that if the Republicans had the presidency, and house and senate majorities, we would be blaming them for inflation and high gas prices every day.
