(16,172 posts)can't prevent a bad guy with a gun from robbing the good guy with a gun what good are those guns?
sadly, the other victims will be responsible for their own hospital bills for getting shot by a good guy with a gun shooting at a bad guy with a gun and being in the way of stray bullets.

(4,131 posts)Concealed carry is far more responsible and tactically sound.
In this case the robber was shot 3 times and the good guy with a gun fled the scene. Two bystanders were also shot.
Seems like all this could have been avoided if open carry wasnt allowed.

(16,172 posts)two grocery shoppers were shot..They didn't entice, join in, pull out a weapon and they got shot. The doctors and hospitals, ambulance crews and nurses all have to be paid and those victims will be responsible for said payment.
So, not only are they in physical pain, emotional pain, they are going to be in financial pain the rest of their lives for the sole crime of needing groceries..
If our idiot openly carrying a rifle had been responsibly carrying a concealed weapon the robber would have found a different victim. But its also possible that the robber wouldnt have done anything at all if he hadnt been tempted by the rifle being openly carried in the first place.
Of course the robber is the one ultimately responsible for this situation but that doesnt make open carry any less stupid or irresponsible.
