Why are we letting "A well regulated militia" murder school kids?
I was raised around guns. Mostly hunting rifles. In high schools they had skeet competitions and teenagers would lock the rifle in their own locker or leave out in the car until after school. There were not any 2nd thoughts about such a thing.
Then all hell broke loose and I swear half of this country has gone insane.
Civil rights, womens rights, gay rights ... at every step the insane half went further down the hate hole.
Hate radio feeds it.
The Republican Party grifts off it.
We tried zero tolerance at schools and instead of paying attention where it was needed put 7 yr olds in jail for a tweety bird key chain. We can't seem to get it right, can't seem to make it work. And in the meantime more mass shootings. More funerals for kids.
We all throw up our hands demanding someone do something but no one seems to have any ideas that will actually get done. It is hard to do anything when you have most of the GOP reps proud of their Christmas pics of the whole family, including the 3 year old posing with guns. Happy birthday Jesus and this pic will pwn the libs. Glory Halleluia.
So today I got mad at some Trumper who lives in the same Sr. living place as I do running her mouth about "we need to do something". So I asked her, exactly what law are we going to pass when people like her vote for someone who claims everyone with a gun is part of a "well regulated militia" per the 2nd Amendment? Those kids were killed by "a well regulated militia".
Well when she realized every gun tote'n maniac is NOT a "well regulated militia" then it shut her up. Admission that the 2nd Amendment DOESN'T apply to every damn gun with every person.
I'm usually upset by these but for some reason this one broke me. I don't care if I lose every friend I've got here. I'm going full in on this one. I've over 80. I doubt we'll get the guns in my lifetime but the fight is on...
