Texas A&M says Kyle Rittenhouse has not been admitted as a student, despite his plan to enroll

Kyle Rittenhouse has not been admitted as a student this fall, despite his announcement on a radio show that he planned to attend the university, a Texas A&M spokeswoman said Sunday.

The Illinois teenager acquitted of fatally shooting two men and wounding another during a 2020 protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, announced his intention to attend Texas A&M during an appearance Friday on The Charlie Kirk Show. Rittenhouse did not specify when he planned to apply for admission to the university.

“I’m gonna be going there, and it’s gonna be awesome,” Rittenhouse told Kirk, according to a video clip of the appearance that circulated on social media. “Beautiful campus, amazing people, amazing food.”

The deadline to apply for admission for the fall 2022 semester at Texas A&M was March, according to the university’s website. Prospective students may apply for the Spring 2023 semester anytime between Aug. 1 and Dec. 1.

IOW, fucking propaganda.

And the rubes lap it up.

And this young man has already figured it out. I see a long career for him in GQP politics.

That alone makes him a hero in the republican party. Being not too fucking smart helps too.

During his high-profile trial, Rittenhouse said he was taking online courses at Arizona State University. The university subsequently said he was not currently a student at ASU.

The Arizona Republic reported that Rittenhouse had been interested in a nursing career and enrolled at ASU as a non-degree-seeking online student for a session that began in October 2021. However, Rittenhouse had not gone through the admissions process and wasn’t enrolled in the nursing school.

if you ran a campus do you really want the kinda of person who's first reaction when trouble occurs is to grab a weapon of war and become a vigilante? I sure wouldn't. He's far too dangerous to be trusted on a campus.

He would not fit in with his fellow deplorables and he’d never be accepted by anyone with a brain.

or is he going to Texas A&M the same way I went to Harvard and Yale: walked around the campuses, looked at the buildings, and visited some of the museums - the usual tourist things.
