reading the "Great Shark Hunt"

by Dr. Hunter S.Thompson and just got to the section about Peru in 1974. The similarities to what's happening here are mind boggling including the 40 Families that controlled the political and economic policies of that country at that time.

It's like the new Tampa Bay bucanneer coach discovering John McKay's playbook all over again.

A crazy genius, maybe, but he could get to the heart of things in no time, and explain it clearly enough that it was impossible to not follow.

I almost wish he had been around for Trump, but that would deserve an equally perceptive audience, which - let's face it - is not as big today as it was in Nixon's time.

and he brings it out in the best way. Humor and intellect.

I never realized he had an international bent along with all that.
