were brutal. Assistant DAs that had resigned spoke out against him. The commercials were frequent and unavoidable. There was some big money behind this.

law violators accountable for their actions. Some of this is not his fault, rather a societal problem caused by so many other factors, nevertheless, he has not been proactive enough, imho. Should he be unseated lets get a Democrat in there who will better compromise between accountability and mercy.

Flame away.

So we're guaranteed a Democrat.

I think it's important for people to understand that the same voters who are overwhelmingly voting for Speaker Pelosi are the same ones who just tossed Boudin out.

Disliking him has become truly a bipartisan enterprise. I don't have a single friend in the city who said they were going to vote to keep him.

A number of DA candidates ran on planks of not prosecuting "minor" criminal offenses, eliminating cash bail, etc. They have nor fared well.

10. Recall funded by RepubliCON billionaire, William Oberndorf.

I live in San Francisco and I have no idea what previous posters are trying to say in this thread. The republicon party is dead here. D.e.a.d., dead. Consequently, they pull these dickish moves to believe they’re relevant. (Fuck them.) It’s the same bullshit recall nonsense as was directly at Governor Gavin Newsom. Unfortunately, voter turnout is very low in this election so remember the importance of that grain of salt, right?

Anyway — Google is your friend. DU maybe not so much.

I have read that he has a higher charging rate than his predecessor, George Gascon, who is now the DA of Los Angeles County. And wouldn't you know it, they are going after him, too. There is a second recall attempt with over 500,000 signatures. About 60k more are needed by July 6th to get the recall on the ballot.

Hoping he'd make much needed progress on issues of criminal justice and civil right I voted for George Gascon. His tenure as DA has been a disaster. Much like what's happened in SF.

I did not sign the recall, but I'd would never vote for Gascon again against a solid Democratic alternative.
