Trump's "angry statement" seems to be based on the Committee not using last night to push his lies

I know he's insane and delusional, I get it.

Here's the Raw Story link to his "Truth Social" post:

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-twitter-2657486001/

It's a platform only inhabited by MAGAts (and I assume a few who are curious, but I'm not THAT curious).

ANYWAY...he wrote that the committee "refuses to play any of the many positive witnesses and statements..."

What was he expecting? An hour of Sydney Powell threatening to "unleash the kraken?" Story time with Ginni Thomas?

His entire objection is that the committee apparently tried to make him look bad after all of his great work.

Merrick Garland REALLY NEEDS TO put the brakes on Trump. CNN claimed Garland "was watching" last night. Let's hope he watches the next six televised hearings and prepares indictments.

Gratitude does not exist in his universe. Everything is owed to him and hence no gratitude, ever.

Once again I am singing to the choir, eh?

It astounds me that there is even a chance that he doesn’t already know everything that was shown last night. I myself felt like I was not surprised by anything, in fact most of the information has been readily available for anyone who cared to look or was paying attention!
I’m surprised that this morning on the news shows so many people were shocked. I don’t think any of us here on DU were the least bit shocked.

j6 treasonous coup attempt.

I didn't know about officer Edwards' ordeal. That was a very heart wrenching testimony, and her response to Thompson's last question was profoundly gut wrenching. I was totally seeing events through her eyes easily as she struggled to find the right words to accurately describe the war zone she found herself in. And her statement indicating that she wasn't trained for combat. That just had to sink in.

I do recall expressing "omg" out loud to something revealed, but at the moment I no longer remember what the hell it was that shocked me. Just when i didn't think anything could shock me. Might have been a revealed detail surrounding the planning. I'm sure someone else will comment on it and bring it back to mind at some point.

But mostly, not surpised by much of the details in the first hearing.

Gotta say, the cliff hangers were brilliantly delivered.

And one more thing I feel compelled to mention is Liz Cheney's presentation. Some one I considered a wack job a few years ago when ever she appeared on tv to defend her position on gay marriage (anti-gay) her position on Obama's negotions with iran, and the whole "war on terror" straight up extremist in my opinion.

Now she seems like an exceptionally intelligent, reasonable, and eloquent speaker. It was a pleasujre listening to her presentation and want to hear her more. I have recognized these traits in her over the past year and ahalf from time to time but last night was a rare experience for me.

That automatically resulted in the exclusion of the whole "Stop the Steal" crowd.
This was all about the conspiracy and the attack on the Capitol...what came before January 6th and on that day.

The only mention of the false claim of voter fraud was the reminder that Trump's legal team lost at least 60 lawsuits regarding claimed voting irregularities, and some discussion of the fake electors.
