general elections? Lisa Murkowski did it as did Joe Lieberman and they both won.

(16,786 posts)While Liz Cheney is too conservative my political tastes, I do commend her for what she is doing on the Committee. For she is a force to be reckoned with.

(4,845 posts)Democrats liking or respecting a republican is a death nail in republican politics right now when their #1 rule is to own the libs. There is no way there is much support for her when we kinda like her here more than they do.

(424 posts)So she would have to pull off a large number of pukes and get the Dems. A lot of work, but likely her only option. Just dont see a large percent of pukes forgiving her. Always seems like only about 20 percent of pukes arent racist ignorant assholes.

(29,149 posts)If she could get half of Wyoming's republicans to vote for her and a huge majority of the democrats/independents to vote for her, then it would be possible, but it would be a tall order. Republicans dominate Wyoming's voter rolls like no other state in the union.

(11,482 posts)For her in primary and that many republicans are quietly planning to vote for her. Trumps people tend to be loud and vocal so of course you hear people yelling about her in Wyoming that she is a traitor. People are afraid to say they back someone Trump hates.
But I was surprised their primary was in August seems late to me.
