Donald Trump was detached from INTEGRITY

not reality.

In fact, Trump spoke about nominating a SCOTUS prior to the outcome of the election, in case a decision to decide the election was necessary.

There is plenty of evidence beyond his SCOTUS remarks which prove that a drunken Rudy, was not the reason for Trump's disregard for fact.

The plan was in place prior to the election.

My local paper ran an AP story with the headline: Jan. 6 panel hears: Trump ‘detached from reality’ in election defeat

This talking point needs to be confronted.

Because TFG has consistently shown that FACTS and TRUTH have no bearing whatsoever on his assertions and rhetoric.

He is a PATHOLOGICAL LIAR who says whatever he **believes** serves his purpose in the moment.

Regardless of actual vote counts or what his own experts had to say, there was NO WAY he would accept defeat. The narrative would be FRAUD, RIGGED, STOLEN -- and he began laying the groundwork for those baseless claims even before the election by claiming early voting and mail-in ballots were rife with fraud.

Did he actually **believe**what he was saying?

He had no factual basis for such a belief, so he latched onto "alternative facts" because it served his purpose.

"It's easier to beg forgiveness afterwards than ask permission beforehand."

It's an effective variation of the old "what, me worry?" routine, and his idiot base falls for it every damned time. Bless their little hearts.
