Help. My laptop used to highlight those posts I had already read on DU. Since yesterday, my laptop

is not doing it, so I can't tell which posts I have read and which I have not. Some of the older posts from more than two days ago are still highlighted. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Maybe I touched something accidently. My laptop is an HP and it's less than 5 months old.

Clearing the cache/temporary files by going to tools->internet options -> delete -> delete
if this doesn't work there are other setting adjustments that can be made.
It might be easier to switch your browser. I recommend Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

My son emailed a photo of the settings on his iPad and said to change my settings to conform with his settings.

That worked...one of my settings was different and when it was changed the highlighting returned.

Good luck.. No highlighting is annoying...
