Failed coup': Steve Bannon mocked in front of courthouse as he vows to 'govern for 100 years'

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon's attempt at a fiery populist speech in front of a federal courthouse was marred by a single protester on Wednesday.

When he arrived at the courthouse Wednesday morning, his team was already waiting and prepared to stream the video to a pro-MAGA social media network.

Bannon spoke from behind a meager assembly of two microphones. He was barely audible on the Gettr stream.

As Bannon ranted, a lone protester with a "Failed Coup" sign strategically flanked him.

There are intelligent people who are greedy and evil.

I heard him as a guest on Bill Maher. Very calm and well spoken. A light hearted dismissal of any concerns raised by Bill. If anyone didn’t know who he was they’d think he was a reasonable person.

The intelligent ones know enough to NOT run themselves, and instead convince a power hungry stooge to be the face. While being convinced to do whatever he suggests.

I recall the "coup plotter" sign but didn't know he made it an avocation to go around doing this.

If you think about it, it's actually like a part- or full-time job. First, he has to keep track of the events where he can go with his sign.

Second, he has to line up others to photograph him.

Third, he has to do the logistics to make sure he can get a good shot out of it.

Fourth, he has to actually make the signs.

Fifth, he has to publish and publicize the photos on the internet.

It's actually a very good form of communication, as well as a most noble effort on behalf of democracy.
