Sometimes I really worry about the state of things, but then I realize...

...climate change is going to destroy civilization anyway, and all the Republican assholes will die of starvation.
Of course the rest of us will too, but oh well. Nothing lasts forever.

My dad died in 2013 after battling an incurable cancer for 5 years. He used to say, toward the end, that it’s not his problem anymore. Letting go helped him relax and enjoy what he could in the time he had left.

Well, I’m now 3.5 years into the same cancer. I haven’t been able to let go quite yet, but soon. The rest of ya’ are going to have to figure out how to fix this mess we’re in.
