to degrade the Vice-president in an attempt to goad him into following his evil plan; or people who don't see this as a reason to disqualify him and are fighting to get him reinstated.

(16,928 posts)I'm an 'old fart' - I remember the crazy rules from Hollywood and early TV when EVERYTHING was SO sterile - married couples were in 'twin beds' because, well, of course!!!!
I remember a DJ in my local radio area that in the late 60's proclaimed that they couldn't say the word 'pregnant' on the air - and he said it over and over again - and got some 'time off.'
I also remember a minister who said "God Damn America" for what it had done in the history of 'Black America' - and the attack came against him because PRESIDENT OBAMA had attended his church at one point.
But this - the acceptance/tolerance of IQ45 and his grossness - there will NEVER be anybody who will be able to explain how THAT became acceptable - and we are a poorer nation because of it.

(506 posts)I find a million Covid dead to be slightly more upsetting. Not to mention the violent attempt to turn our nation into an oligarchic autocracy. I could go on and on. But stay strong, the Long March against vulgarity is a mighty struggle.

LBJ had a foul mouth. He might have said something like that too, but he wasn't a traitor.
