Or paying for his prison costs or his appeals.

And if his followers want to turn him into a martyr, well, there's no accounting for taste.

Because arresting him will lead to riots and violence by the Christofascists. Failing to arrest him leads to the death of our country. If he eats just one too many cheeseburgers or overcooked steak, nature might take care of him. Or perhaps his senility will set in enough to convince even his followers that he has no mind left (not that he has much to begin with) Then we can focus on indicting and trying the rest of his crime family and his co-conspirators.
