Im not sure why they arent using ranked choice voting.

And pleasantly so.
Those outside the LA media market may not be aware of the extent of Caruso's "shock and awe" advertising campaign, but--as a lifelong Angeleno--I've never seen anything like it.
Yet Karen Bass (my candidate) is in the lead going into the general. I imagine most of those who supported other candidates will break for Bass.
Looks good moving forward.
