9. Republican cannibals

I said something similar to a Republican friend. Her husband is the county administrator for Fulton County, NY. Their friend, a Republican sheriff, totally went after the administrator, publicly and viciously in the press. The sheriff opposed a piece of land that the county purchased and was pursuing a criminal investigation. #1, I don't see how this is the sheriff's business. #2, I don't see how a land purchase rises to a crime. But, this sheriff is VERY political. My friend (who it's harder and harder to remain friends with) repeats FOX/GOP/Trump talking points about the poor, immigrants, etc. She really does not see that the GOP has no problem cannibalizing their own.
