No other president could have done any better

than the uniquely equipped Joe Biden. He passed not one, but TWO pieces of landmark legislation before the midway point of his very first term. He realized his accomplishments without a Democratic supermajority in the Senate and a slim majority in the House. This is after inheriting a government that was in a functional spiral of diminution due to four consecutive years of signature republican malfeasance and incompetence. We will be back on that track of republican malfeasance and incompetence if we don't support our President. Support is contagious as is whining. Anyone who chooses to take Joe Biden and his successes for granted by jumping on the Dump on Biden bandwagon should take a little time to consider the alternative.

I continue to fully support Biden/Harris. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed. I'm simply proud and grateful that I know how this country works.

He isn't getting nearly the credit he deserves, but most presidents don't at this point in their presidency. It is frustrating, but I remember Obama before the mid-terms in 2010 and it wasn't pretty. Democratic candidates didn't even want him to come to their states and campaign for them. That first mid-term is a really rough hurdle, but as we know Obama survived and regained his popularity.

I don't envy Biden right now, but he's been around long enough to have known what to expect. Still, I wish he could get a break. He deserves it.

in his first midterm election. If we lose our edge in either house, there will be no more significant advance on the Biden agenda concerning abortion rights, voting rights, and on and on. The only chance is to bolster Democratic chances now is to increase and amplify the voices who support Biden. The cowards are opting for what seems to be the intuitive route of distancing themselves from him which is actually the key to failure (hanging separately). I wish it was just about popularity, but there is way more on the line.

And the thought of losing either or both the houses is horrifying. I wish voices in the media took that into consideration when they start carelessly bashing Biden, often for no tangible reason other than to have something to say on camera. Even the "old age" jokes from comedians are disturbing and infuriating.

It is like no one is really paying attention to all that Biden has done and how much better off we are now than two years ago, not to mention how bad things will get if republicans take back control. We truly are a superficial culture and that is often reflected in our political leaders.
