They may want to be careful, because The Pig DOES hold a grudge!

(8,844 posts)want Trump Gone just as much as the Dems. They just don't want to say so, for fear of losing his massive cult of voters.
But don't worry, the Republicans would put someone like DeSantis in there, who in many ways would be much much worse than Trump.
DeSantis is much more intelligent and covert in his destruction of Democracy............

(11,155 posts)Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy, commenting on the latest revelations from the Jan. 6 Committee hearings Tuesday, told fellow Fox News analysts Jonathan Turley, John Roberts and Anita Vogel that Donald Trumps pressuring officials to reject the official ballots for the 2020 presidential election shows his unfitness, and that the former president may be guilty of a crime.
He added that there is no defending what President Trump did on Jan. 6, 2021. If you were a defense lawyer, if you were someone with a different perspective than the anti-Trump perspective thats carried by the committee, I dont think theres any defending what President Trump did, he said. The most you could do would be to try to put it in some kind of a mitigating context.

There is no way in hell that Trump would have made it through his entire term without their un-waivering support.........
Every single one of them knew he was as corrupt as hell, a true PSYCOPATH, and *TWICE* acquitted him when he was impeached..........

(10,051 posts)I was a bit surprised at the points they brought up and their focus on Trumps guilt and the whole January 6 effort. Usually the three news networks avoid saying anything critical about either party.
