If the Supreme Court justice textualists are so concerned about taking the

Constitution literally, then they can just lock the doors to the Supreme Court and go home. Because there is nothing in the Constitution that gives them the last word on laws past by Congress. They gave themselves that right with Marbury v. Madison.

I am saying that the Supreme Court illegally usurped power and that was accepted as long as they stuck to stare decisis. But the corrupt conservative judges has derailed that quiet agreement and as such, the purpose of the Supreme Court justice is now in question.

Worth noting, too, that as was widely remarked at the time, the Marbury v. Madison 'decision' was a purely political put-up job, intended by hold-over Federalists to hamstring the incoming Jefferson administration, lest this attempt the sort of French-style revolution their propagandas imagined would be his policies in office.
