Companies offer benefits in response to abortion restrictions

The U.S. Supreme Court's decision Friday to strike down a federal right to abortion could lead at least a dozen states to outlaw the practice.

Companies have been gearing up in preparation for this moment.

Match Group announced that it was setting up a fund so that any Texas-based employees could travel in case they were in need of an abortion and couldn't get one in the state.

Last fall, Bumble, a dating app also based in Texas, created a fund to help organizations advocating for abortions rights. Lyft similarly started a legal defense fund.
