It’s a political institution. There is no overarching National mission or ideology.

As it was Bush’s, crazy enough. Sort of a “we’re all Americans” nonsense intended to placate and disarm people.

RBG favored cameras when asked about it during her confirmation hearing but later changed her mind.

Generally speaking - the opinion is that they would do more to confuse the public than help them understand the cases.

Open to reporters and members of the public. The sessions are audio recorded and available on the court's website. I don't see what cameras would add.

It is not a SC issue. No one needs to travel to DC. They can go to the website and listen anytime they like.

Not just audio.

They are working against democracy and the rights of women.
They need to be on camera during their working day.

Funny how the SC can make draconian and heart breaking decisions but we cannot get them on camera.

They have total control over women now, but we are not allowed to exert any control over them.
Even though we pay their damn salaries.

They are hypocrites. They have guards and protection, but the rest of us are sitting ducks for random gun violence they promote.

They invade a woman's right to medical privacy, but we cannot even get a camera in court.

Some of us are sick of the SC elitist attitude.

This probably is not the right day to defend the SC.

These clowns think they are isolated from the consequences of their actions. Cameras in the Court, no lifetime appointments.
