I work for a corporation, and my retirement is based on a 401(k) with probably thousands of corporations. Sure as hell can't rely on social security. That's retirement "fun money" for many.

6. LGBTQ people have been doing that for a while now

In that realm it's called "rainbow washing" when a corporation puts up a Pride flag in June but otherwise doesn't act as an ally. It's nothing more than a crass marketing move.

So now the community calls them on it, on platforms like Twitter, by posting their political donations ratio or amounts they've given to insurrectionist Republicans, and so on.

The same should be done any time Corporations pretend to be supportive in the short term but play a much longer game via which party they support.
