OH CRAP! Just when I thought it was safe to like just 1 republican. "Once a Cheney, ALWAYS a Cheney"

Liberals Turn on Liz Cheney After She Celebrates Downfall of Roe v. Wade: ‘It Was Going So Well, Liz’

Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) position as vice chair on the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack has endeared her to many Democrats.

The honeymoon ended for some of them on Friday after she praised the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“I have always been strongly pro-life,” the Wyoming Republican tweeted. “Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court returns power to the states and the people of the states to address the issue of abortion under state law.”

Liz's sister Mary is openly lesbian.

Liz is more than happy to squash LGBTQ rights, despite her sister being a lesbian.

If she has that kind of contempt for her own fucking sister.. How do you think she feels about the rest of us?

Oh, hey.. She's protected the country from Drumpf's insurrection... Nice. And where is she over other people's human rights?

Yeah... Fuck you, sis!

If she can't protect her sister... How can we expect better?

Thank for 1/6, Liz.... Now fuck off and die.

Kudos to her for her stance on the 1/6 Committee, but never forget she is a republican through and through. After the 1/6 deal is over and done with, she will revert to her republican standards which are abhorrent to most Americans.

she has always been ultra conservative.

Only in the case of Donald Trump and the corruption he brought to the GOP (one might point out that the GOP was corrupt long before Trump, but apparently that was corruption she could live with) did she stand up for the constitution and the rule of law.

... and that her views on most things are completely different than our own.

And I really don't care.

As long as she's doing her job on the J-6 committee, she can hold any opinions on other matters as she sees fit.

She put her political career on the line in order to do the right thing - and I respect and admire her for doing so.

Whatever opinions she holds outside of that role are of no consequence to the matter-at-hand - investigating what led-up to the insurrection, and identifying those responsible.

I also see it as a chance to "use" her for our own sakes and after that never hear from her again.

I'm not above playing the same game the Republicans do. Think Susan Collins here. She acts like she is just a naive little lady who had no idea someone wanting on the SC would actually lie to the nation. She knew exactly what she was doing, but played along. She also votes with us only when it's safe for her to do so.

Having said that, I reiterate - I say we praise Cheney for how she is helping to expose the GOP for what they are, but don't turn your back on her.
