Oslo Pride cancelled after shootings kill two and injure dozens more
An LGBTQI+ march in Oslo scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled after late-night shootings hit the Norwegian capital.
Police requested event organisers to call off the event, following the targetting of two bars, including one gay club, Friday evening.
After "clear advice and recommendations from the police", "all events related to Oslo Pride are cancelled," the organisers wrote in a Facebook post, imploring "anyone who had planned to participate in or watch the parade, not to show up."
