(61,695 posts)keep up their fight in perpetuity. Since abortion was the only issue for some voters, will RFs not care about elections anymore? Especially since Thomas has announced "we got this" to their base on the other social issues. (contraception, gay sex, marriage equality, etc.)

Thats why a womans right to vote is next.
Its why LGBTQ protection is next.
Its why the abolition of slavery is next.

(13,186 posts)Don't let this issue degenerate into the usual gray goo recipe of identity politics. When discussing abortion, we should keep our eyes on the prize: Reproductive freedom for women. And don't forget that unwanted motherhood is also almost always unwanted fatherhood.

(47,512 posts)Now they'll have to come up with another wedge issue for their ill informed one issue voters. They still have guns, but basically they really don't have any policy proposals - guns, abortion, and liberals are radical socialists.
