Just back from the Ft Worth Women's March.

I am blown away. There had to be at least 1000 people there, mostly young women. I asked, "How did you hear about this march?" More often than not the answer was a friend told me. Word of mouth for 24 hours and a thousand, maybe more, showed up. No time for a permit but the police showed up and placed barricades to keep the counter protesters at a distance. 20-30 bicycle patrol police, a dozen motorcycles and a few other vehicles. Impromptu parade route and traffic control!

After march chant. What you can't see is that on the far right the march is still coming in. It stretches 3 blocks back after all these people came in.

It's a sure thing thing that Gov. Abbott doesn't give a rat's ass for women's issues, even when it's NOT abortion. Why any woman in Texas would vote for Abbott is beyond me.

Ft. Worth was one of the very last big cities in TX to go Democratic, joining the rest: Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso.

So nice to see something in the way of constructive action.

Seeing this and more ahead really gives hope that we have a chance of taking this country back and this, with the courts guns, and possibly DOJ exposing all the traitors, real common sense forward looking Americans can sweep house and senate this fall. Give Biden a way to get the things done we all want and 2024 will clean out the rats so maybe progressives can take control.
Choice Women and women of multiple races and gun reform young folks like Hogg, young environmental fighters, can bring out votes like never before seen. All these young people have so much to lose. So proud of Dem women. There is defiantly hope for this country here during these dark warped times.
