What would Repubs do if the tables were turned?
We should figure that out (likely not hard to do!!) and then do that.
They are ruthless fighters and we need to be, too.
Yeah, I know. We're not them.
They relentlessly marched to this point. They lied, cheated, stole to gain what they needed to WIN.
Meanwhile, we can't get rid of the filibuster. We can't pass laws they won't overturn. They have mastered the supremacy of the minority.
It is time for unity on our side. No stupid squabbles.
It is time to be ruthless. Don't do things because that is what tradition says. Break a new path. Break eggs and break rules. Make new rules. Ban the words "we can't". Because their is no room for can't. The only path is to win.
The GOP will not tolerate a member stepping out of line. We do. STOP THAT. No doubt there are many who see us unable to do X because Senator M won't go along. Start with an arm twist and then more. Many say we can't do Y because the power we have now won't extend to allow that. There is an old saying: Ask forgiveness, not permission.
