I didn't think that. I've been quite vocal about it since before 2016. They seemed more deplorable than stupid then, the stupidity became obvious when they stuck with trump and his sycophants.

..to Carlo M. Cipolla, author of The Five Basic Laws of Human Stupidy, there are 4 groups of people: helpless, intelligent, bandits and stupid people with stupid people perhaps the most dangerous group of all. J6 rioters [incl GOP, ffg sycophants] are imo in the latter group bc they blindly followed an idiot to their own detriment causing harm not only to themselves but to others.

LAW #3: A STUPID PERSON IS A PERSON WHO CAUSES LOSSES TO ANOTHER PERSON OR A GROUP OF PERSONS WHILE HIMSELF DERIVING NO GAIN AND EVEN POSSIBLY INCURRING LOSSES.
Stupid people will inevitably make decisions that confuse us – their reasoning simply escapes us. It’s not that they are ill-willed, it’s just that they are incapable of seeing the effects of their actions in a broader context. To this end, Cipolla noted, “There are people who, by their illogic actions, not only cause harm to other people, but also to themselves.”

LAW #4: NON-STUPID PEOPLE ALWAYS UNDERESTIMATE THE DAMAGING POWER OF STUPID INDIVIDUALS.
Cipolla expanded on this law: “In particular, non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places, and under any circumstances, to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.” Our own naivete makes us vulnerable: “Stupid people are deadly dangerous because reasonable people find it difficult to imagine and understand stupid behavior.” Don’t try to make sense of them, just avoid them.

He basically said that no precedent is safe and that the Court will be revisiting every decision acknowledging any right, most likely including voting rights. His words must be used in every Democratic ad to hammer home just how dangerous this party and this Court is to our future.

One party is trying to protect lives and make this a healthy country for all Americans. The other openly expresses their desire to see "the others" destroyed, and would gladly "burn it all down" to remake America in their image.

Hell, as I've said before... There is one party. That's us. What was once the Republican party is now a domestic terrorist organization that has done more to fuck up this country than 1,000 Osama bin Ladens ever could.
