Texas Senator Ted Cruz is worried that "radical" abortion advocates will be "threatening mob violence" after the Supreme Court of the United States officially overturned Roe Vs. Wade, which guaranteed the right to a legal abortion, on Friday.
Cruz would be believable playing the villain in a movie. I can see him as Snidely Whiplash or maybe even as putin. It would be believable if I saw him say that he'd bomb Ukraine.

(2,636 posts)we think are being screwed out of their rights and coerced to give their infants away via for profit adoption services.
Is this violence happening, or is it the Rights wishful thinking to justify their own violence?

(10,206 posts)All of these fake attacks are just that, false flags, they are just doing it to themselves. You KNOW there will never be anyone apprehended. Why? Because these violent freaks are very well practiced in doing actual attacks on actual reproductive health facilities without getting caught. Doing a little flashbang on their own damn fake clinics is far easier.

(61,698 posts)We don't mind if that group actually helps a mother in a crisis pregnancy, a woman who has made her choice. Sure, those centers tell lies and try to get the babies put up for adoption, but we can handle their manipulations.

(1,782 posts)While I don't think it's the federal governments job to send any "troops" or anyone else to protect local private facilities across the country, I don't understand the negativity directed at these places.
I mean, the women who go there are going because they are women, they are pregnant, and they need help with that. Why wouldn't we want these facilities and staff who are serving women to be protected?
Granted, I know little about what services these places offer, but they are serving women who want help of some sort. Isn't that a good thing?
Don't beat me up here if I'm missing the obvious, but I don't know what it could be.

(37,162 posts)...women away from abortion. They don't provide women with all the information they need to make a decision, they insert misinformation and exclude other relevant information in order to manipulate women to the outcome they want, or just delay any decision until the pregnancy is far enough along that any termination would be classified as "late term" and subject to many more restrictions.
Let's say a woman with an ectopic pregnancy goes to one of these centers. What are the chances of a terrible outcome?

(22,448 posts)based, do not provide medical care and are one of the very weakest links when it comes to data protection.
The center nearest me offers free pregnancy tests, an ultrasound, and then hard-sell parenting classes and "groups" where attendance coupons are redeemed for diapers and other supplies. Parenting classes may or may not have an expert come in; groups are basically religious circles. There is no pre- or post-natal or pediatric medical care offered.

(14,175 posts)I think ted'$ young daughters really wanted to go to Mexico to get the fuck away from their dad. Thinking daddy had to quickly return to DC so he could help advance the fascist agenda with his vote in the halls of the US Senate. At least mom and the girls could get away from creepy dad for a short spell.
