Im not saying I agree with him but his theory is chillingly plausible. This is a GOP dream45 is toast. He is an ex wannabe. Hes pinin for the smorgasbords. And now they can cut loose and run DeSantis. They got what they wanted from that horrid little puppet.
Thoughts? Because DeSantis is evil personified.

(153,169 posts)but the fact is, something has to be done with Donald Fucking Trump, and we would have to deal with the fallout. Liz Cheney is still a fucking repuke who is not fighting for America, she is fighting for old school GOP (they also stunk it up)
but, it had to be done

That Fugelsang summarizes this as some victory for republicans is really shallow and disappointing
It also ignores the involvement of members of Congress in the insurrection
The seriousness of this cannot be underestimated as simply winning or losing

All of them Pootie, Moscow Mitch, the SCrOTUS, all of them are going ahead with what they were planning to do. It is like a Democratic majority never occurred in 2020.
The TX GrOPpers even said so out loud.

(46,736 posts)On the surface, De Santis won. But he also lost too, because he's at the head of the pack and Trump is a vengeful person. If they have shit on De Santis, they will try to use it to control him. They might come up to a truce, but not before Trump draws blood.
