I found this confusing, as Engle was also in the car with Trump, and assaulted by Trump, following the rally, just an hour earlier. So, did Engle leave Trump at the WH and go to the Capitol to pick up Pence?

This wasn’t Engles tale. It may have been true, it may have been a “oh yeah here’s one up” exaggeration of a true event, it may have been a fabrication to keep a pretty girl entertained. Who knows. Maybe we’ll find out soon.

7. Engel was not the driver of TFG's vehicle

I too was confused by that earlier today. Engel was in the back seat with TFG.

According to Ms. Hutchinson, Tony Ornato (WH Deputy Chief of staff) told her about the struggle in the SUV. Reportedly, the driver of the SUV was a different SS agent. TFG reached for the wheel. Engel grabbed TFG's arm away and TFG reached at Engel's "clavicle" in response.

Ms Hutchinson testified she was told this by Tony Ornato whiel in the same room with a shaken Bobby Engel.
