Some, including me, are comparing the Trumpians and Trump to the mob. Then I remembered

Half of America loved "the mob" and looked at them has some kind of heroes.

A good number worship him as at least semi-divine.

This is why the Pig is loathe to give up his office and status. Being President was a new high for the malignant narcissist.
