just found out that randy shilts is from my hometown.

did not know that. good article. worth the time.

i think i might have known someone in the family but i dont remember who. he had a bunch of brothers. didnt go to the same schools, but it was a pretty dinky town then.

"And the Band Played On" is an amazing, intimidating book, though once picked up it's hard to put down. I know little about Shilts, so found this article was well worth the read.
