In Quinnipiacs January 2022 poll, the race was very tight with 49 percent of voters supporting Walker and 48 percent supporting Warnock.
...snip...
The race for Georgia governor is a tie with 48 percent of voters supporting Republican incumbent Brian Kemp and 48 percent supporting Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams.
This is essentially unchanged from Quinnipiacs January 2022 poll when 49 percent supported Kemp and 47 percent supported Abrams.

(10,624 posts)They could still win. It's Georgia, after all. But I think the Republicans made an unforced error when they nominated Herschel.

Dull mean white guy vs smart interesting black lady I feel like Abrams winning Georgia could open some small flood gates in the south.

(5,093 posts)Kemp is a sitting governor which makes the contest much more competitive. With these
numbers, Abrams will get lots of national attention and be able to raise funds easily.
Send money now.

(27,451 posts)Ive been getting daily texts and emails from the Warnock campaign showing him one point behind the football guy. I know theyre trying to raise money but the football guy seems even too stupid for Republicans.

(5,124 posts)Walker will get walloped. Yes Abrams needs all the help she can get. Kemp cheated last time. Its almost funny to see the Warnock attack ads. He voted for inflation with Joe Biden and AARP supports him but something something about AARP being crooked.
In contrast to Abrams attack ads. Radical, Defund the police, Yada Yada Yada.
