"SNIP......
A new Quinnipiac poll in Georgia shows Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) jumping out to a double-digit lead over Republican challenger Herschel Walker (R), 54% to 44%.
In the matchup for governor, Gov. Brian Kemp (R) and challenger Stacey Abrams (D) are tied at 48% each.

(5,124 posts)Compared to the Attack ads against Abrams. I wouldnt be surprised if theyve already decided thats a lost cause, not gonna spend a lot of money going after Warnock.

(501 posts)Repubs don't care if he can read. Walker has an R by his name.

(12,157 posts)I think the majority of Georgia Republicans would vote for a dead skunk if it had an (R) after its name. I'm hoping a bunch of the vaunted Suburban Women who apparently switch parties at the slightest provocation will be unable to stomach Walker and will vote for Warnock -- or at least not support Walker.
Warnock, of course, is immensely popular with the Democratic base, especially AA voters. With Stacey Abrams also on the ballot and a true numbskull for a U.S. Senate opponent, we have the best situation possible here in 2022. Millions in super-PAC and Dark money is flowing to Walker, though. And of course, the usual Republican voter suppression tactics will be fully deployed in this cycle. Hope we can GOTV like mad, because the race is going to tighten and I predict will be a squeaker no matter what.

(9,998 posts)I REALLY want to see her win, and send Kemp packing.
Maybe TFG will attack him, and discourage some more repubs from voting in that race.
