Voting is their chance to influence society in ways they agree with. Those who disengage takes their chances.

There are basically two camps in my experience:

1) the Liberals who are unhappy about the primary issue important to them has not been addressed.

2) People that might agree the Republicans are crap, but are not happy with the identify politics and may be hostile to LGBTQ causes or racial justice.

I feel like group #1 is more reachable because they are probably more in tune with the dangers Republicans pose. Group #2 is probably a larger pool of potential voters, but I think they are more likely to swing either way based on who they think is causing a bigger problem for them personally.

The Republicans are crap because they are taking away your livelihoods and liberties.
The Democrats are crap because they can't effectively stop Republicans without votes.

Who are you going to support?

these people decide things that effect all aspects of your life, so even if you only like 1 thing about person A and 0 about person B, you should still vote for person A.

or i quote Rush (the band, not Limbaugh): "If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice." If you don't decide who you want to support, someone else will decide for you.

100 million people "voted" for drumpf in 2016 because if you don't pick a side, you are implicitly supporting the person who ends up winning, even if you tell yourself you didn't participate.

Ex army. Was other than honorably discharged because he went awol in Afghanistan. Ever since the Afghanistan debacle. Blames everything on Biden. And listens to right wing radio regularly and is now saying he agrees with them about the don’t say gay bill and AOC and al kinds of other crap. Loves Bill Maher’s take on most things. Oh and get this: he now loves DeSantis! We are losing him!!! I can’t imagine I’m the only one in this camp. I know two other former democrat, middle aged white people who also are going this route! And two Hispanics.

Why does BM continue to bash democrats? All of his stupid takes have to do with liberal snowflakes. AOC. Sleepy Joe … you’d think he was a GOP if you didn’t know him.

We need to do something quick!!! Abortion issue is not going to be enough!!
