Just a small point to make about Democratic fund raising.

I'm a very small donor, so I don't know how representative my opinion will be in the larger scheme of things. If I donate, it's to candidates who convince me that they're fighting the good fight, and that if they succeed, they'll stick to the principles that helped elect them.

I do get appeals from the DNC and DCCC, but mostly I ignore them. My reservations go back to the Centrist years, where I feel we lost ground. That was back in the years when they said, a rising tide lifts all boats, which was good news for those who had boats in the water. But, not everyone did. People who were already in good position to benefit from financial deregulation did well, but mostly, everyone else saw the loss of solid ground.

As I said before, I'm a very small donor. But, there could be a lot of good reasons to donate to the DNC or DCCC, and in those cases, wouldn't it be better to have AOC or someone from the squad asking for the money? I know it would bridge my apprehensions if I knew that the issues have cross-over appeal to progressives, and having a progressive face to the request might produce better results.

Mostly those in tight races. I really hate getting constantly bombarded by the DNC and others. I bothered me enough that I didn’t donate for awhile but decided it’s more important that I help defeat the fascists. I can live with the annoyance, can’t live with a RW crazy government.

Give your money to AOC and the Squad. Our Revolution seems to be where you want to send it to so do it. We vote with our dollars. I love President Biden. I will be giving to the DNC and ActBlue. President Biden supports all Americans and I believe it is the best path forward.

Just that AOC's face on the DNC or DCCC appeals would bear better results. Of course, it's up to her to determine if this is something she can do for them.

She is easy on the eyes but her actions tell the tale - she is not aligned with the DNC. Her choices are very clear. I think she is a populist who’s main talent is twitter but it speaks and rings true for many folks.

who you support and agree with. Act Blue is also a good organization.

Those centrist/establishment organizations seem to be more self-serving rather than giving support to candidates who would actually represent and work for the people. For example, we can thank that kind of organization for giving us Sinema instead of a candidate that would support the Democratic party, agenda and the Democratic president.

So give to individual campaigns.

And because there are so many candidates that I want to donate to but can’t donate to all of them. I do donate to individual candidates when I can. Right now, I donate regularly to Ukraine because because…and because Putin has a hand in what’s happening here and if the orcs aren’t stopped it will get a lot worse.
