But Im also realistic enough to believe that a minority do hate certain groups within the country and want to see them exterminated. The white supremacists believe that the US is for white people only. The religious right believes that women have no function other than as baby makers who have no right to a life outside the home. I dont think these people gate their country, but I do think they hate those of us who believe that life is more than motherhood or adherence to a religion created to serve men a few thousand years ago.
I am having a hard time believing in America any more. It seems to have become a country where violence and hatred are preferred over tolerance and love.
