just on the basis of their political affiliation? Isn't what TFG and other GOPers tried to do to Hunter Biden? The father might have some moral responsibility depending on what he actually taught him - which we don't know - but his son is an adult and is responsible for his own crimes.

We are more concerned with "individualism"...some theorize this is one factor as to why mass shooting do not occur as often in countries like the Philippines even though guns are prevalent there.

I said the concept of "family shame" is strong in Asia and that in the US there is a stronger emphasis on the individual.

and the widespread availability of all kinds of guns is obviously the big one but it's not the only one. Family shame or the lack of it might be a factor but in this particular case we don't know anything yet.

These shooters tend to come from right wing families. Not exclusively, but much more prevalent.

don’t even have political affiliations. There’s a pattern with those killings too, but I don’t think it’s necessarily political.

Running someone out of town let's them start over in a new place, and spin a yarn. No restart button for this turd.

knowing what he was going to do with it, I'm not into punishing groups, including famiies, for what one person does.
