What is the definition of a terrorist organization and is the GQP one?

I know they are a cult but since they basically support shooters and their ideology can they be called a terrorist organization now? The "American Taliban" doesn't work for me.

1. I would say yes...

I think it is generally accepted that terrorism is the use of violence for political gain. Certainly, that is a core part of the GQP. To be fair though... American Taliban is also a very good fit for them.

They want regressive laws outlawing freedom for women, blacks, immigrants. They want to impose their version of theocracy on America.

The definition of terrorism fits the GOP:

the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

Violence is a means to an end for these motherfuckers and yeah, I call them terrorists.
