From Highland Park, IL today:

“It struck me that these kids were little like between 7 and 10. They were scared. They had terrified looks on their faces but they were so composed because they've been through active shooter drills and they knew what to do.”

This is a sad commentary on what we are doing to little kids in this country!

My first month I was in the US and there was gunfire in a best buy parking lot
A bunch of little kids hit the ground while we stood there not knowing what was happening
I was shocked, and saddened at how quickly they responded
Do you think the next generation is going to he ok? (emphasis added)
