The six states with the highest maternal mortality rates in the nation have all banned abortion:

Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Since the “save the mother’s life” guidelines are deliberately vague, in Texas (and no doubt other states) she has to show clinical signs of impending death before they will treat an ectopic pregnancy. Where the fetus has 0% chance of survival. Our lives really are worth less than a clump of cells.

on the state's which actually care about infant mortality and women's reproductive rights.

The most jarring idiocy about this is, it makes perfect sense to them and they can't understand why anyone would object.
