Not sure what the rest of it means, but if you see somebody sporting a Pepe t-shirt you can be pretty damn sure he's not Antifa.

I'm no expert on this thing but I believe that it wasn't originally a racist meme but it has morphed into that.

3. The cartoon frog is a symbol of white supremacy

This is a weird one.

Pepe the Frog was used in Hong Kong protests in a non-white-supremacist fashion, so that appears to be where the Asian script comes from.

However, alt-right people have used Pepe for years as a symbol of white supremacy, so undoubtedly that's what it's for.

He also wore a square with triangles on corners it's a Finnish white supremacy symbol. He wore the donald suit, supported him, and attended his motorcade rally with a smile. He's a hater.

5. Sad Frog is a cartoon drawing of a depressed-looking frog

"Sad Frog is a cartoon drawing of a depressed-looking frog, often accompanied by the text "Feels Bad Man" or "You Will Never X". It is used to denote feelings of failure or disappointment, either by posting the image or using the phrase "feelsbadman.jpg." Sad Frog may be seen as the antithesis of Feels Good Man.

Origin
The original Sad Frog artwork is based on Matt Furie's drawing of Pepe the frog. The earliest archived 4chan thread[1] was posted on January 22nd, 2009, in which an altered version of Furie’s original image with the mouth flipped, saying “Feels Bad Man." On August 17th, 2009, a user on the Body Building Forums posted[2] the Sad Frog image with the caption "not good man."

Had a guest bring a guest to a pool party. This one showed up with Pepe tattooed on her arm. That was pretty awkward for the rest of us.

That's the problem--not everybody necessarily knows what "everybody necessarily knows." With a thousand subcultures all siloed, the "one true meaning" tends to shift from silo to silo. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. It's obvious when somebody from outside gets your (sub)culture wrong, invisible when we're outside a culture and look into it and get it wrong.

https://t-shirtat.com/shop/pepe-the-frog-sad-boys-2-sad-4-u-t-shirt/ has a similar shirt--yesterday I ran across other links, curious about it. One was in Sweden. Others, Amazon (no longer available ... go figure). There's a market for it, I guess. Note the text under the frogface..

https://hip-hop-music.fandom.com/wiki/Sad_Boys is a music collective. The text above "Sad Boys" isn't the same, but on this site it looks Mandarin to me, while the shirt's text is, I think, Japanese. Some overlap in characters, kanji does that.

Beyond that, need context. Perhaps Sad Boys has a white supremacist following, and maybe that's the likely solution. (And maybe Sad Boys is white supremacist, maybe their music for whatever reason appeals to white supremacists.) They do rap.

Also there's a Lil P Peace "2 sad 4 you" album. (with the I hope unconnected "Lil P" Remington compact sight, https://www.gunsandammo.com/editorial/bushnell-lil-p-compact-prism-sight/364197). Then again, 2 sad 4 u has an urban dictionary music and there's "sad boy rap" as some sort of sub-sub-subgenre, so perhaps the Lil P Peace album is playing either off the urban dictionary sort of definition or mocking "sad boy rap." Don't know, got no hook into the stuff.

Not my subculture, I'm looking in from the outside and I'm glad I'm on the outside. I don't particularly think it coheres, and not sure I want to understand how it does for those inside.
